A Simulation Framework for Evaluating Decision-making Algorithms in Unreliable Information Exchange

Luuk Smit, Timo Brockhus, Thomas Stols, Nander Voortman (2015-01-27 13:45 - 14:30 in ZI-2042)

We present a web-based simulation framework for simulating unreliable information exchange between agents. Our framework enables researchers to create a simulation environment in which agents use configurable decision-making algorithms that copy information obtained from other agents based, among others, on reliability and certainty. As a result, agents with “smart” information exchange algorithms are able to detect and mitigate unreliable information from unreliable sources.
